    Ben Bastomski is a writer, lawyer, and speaker.

     

    After completing his term as an IDF sharpshooter and graduating with honors from Harvard Law School, Ben embarked on twin careers as a litigator and creator in his native Southern California.

     

    As a lawyer, he has written for the Harvard National Security Journal and other publications, while maintaining a California litigation practice focused on appellate law. He is also an accomplished fashion model, a role in which he has worked with leading stylists and photographers in diverse campaigns in the United States and overseas.

     

    His new memoir, As Figs in Autumn, marks his literary debut. Drawing its title from the poetry of Yehuda Amichai, As Figs in Autumn has been hailed as a "lyrical and elegaic portrait of a young man coming-of-age as he learns the art of war" (Publishers Weekly).

     

    Presently, Ben lives in Haifa, where he is at work on his next nonfiction book.
